I guess it's time!

First of all, the biggest news! My brother Stephen is an IRONMAN! 2.4 miles swimming, 112 biking, and 26.4 miles running. One word, three syllables- INSANE! Needless to say, he was fantastic the whole time- he actually finished well before his goal time- doing the whole thing in about 12 hours. The marathon itself (the 26.4 miles) he completed in under 4 hours...after doing the swimming and biking first.

In other news, many might be aware than my radiant wife is a bit pregnant at the moment. Others may also be aware that my father has just acquired a brand new Honda accord. The two came to odds last night, when Jen's water broke on the way home from Madison (after watching Stephen's ironman) all over the beautiful leather back seat. Ryan carefully made his way through the wisconsin traffic to United Hospital (please replace the word carefully with recklessly, and somewhere insert 90 mph). There was a mini-debate as to whether we would stop by Eau Claire hospital, but instead we made the 2 hour trek to St. Paul instead. Not a whole lot of progress on labor right now; we have been making alot of trips up stairs, down hallways, loops around the hospital corridors in search of contractions; yet none to be found. We're going to hang out a bit here at the hospital until this kiddo decides to get his act together. We're taking the bull by the horns and just started pitocin- going to hunker down and wait for ensuing action!

Wonderful! Can hardly wait to hear all about it. Hang in there and love every minute of it. You will have a great story to tell your little one for years to come and wonderful memories of this first.

Love,
Lee

Congratulations Ryan and Jen! Baby Bump has transformed into your beautiful baby girl, Audrey! I was very surprised to hear your news that you were in the hospital. Babies certainly have their ways of mixing things up a little! We are so very happy for you. Alana and Damian will be ready to give her hugs and kisses (after washing hands and any face goo!) We can hardly wait to meet her. YEAH!! :-)
Love, Karen, MJ, Alana and Damain
