Hey Everyone! I have actually taken a few naps overnight...and a bit more sane right now, and thus the longer post. The good news is that she has most of Jen's features, the bad news is that she has my nose... there's always plastic surgery I suppose. Jen actually gets a big kick out of it- looking at my face and the face of her little daughter...finding something so familiar. In all seriousness, everything has gone well- Mama and Audrey are on their way to breastfeeding class right now- a lot of pressure on little Audrey to show up the other kids in her class!

She was born officially at 36 weeks and 3 days- almost 4 weeks earlier than her scheduled due date. Obviously a little bit of a surprise...but both she and Jen did awesome during and after labor. Jen was really exhausted at first, but perked up with a meal. Audrey got a little bit of a special evaluation because of her earlier birth, but everything has check out great. In fact, she helped me with the Tuesday New York Times crossword while Mom took her shower. Probably going to head home tomorrow sometime, hopefully in the morning. More posts to follow and hopefully more pictures of people with the kiddo...my pictures were a bit limited last night.
