Cinque Terre

Hello to everyone from the west coast of northern italy...if you didnt know where Cinque Terre is.  Its a land of beautiful waters, few tourists (although they are growing in number) and more ice cream.  Cute little towns just on the waters edge.  We hike abougt 10 km along the hillsides and we both almost died...  Jen almost died from exhaustion and Ryan almost died from Jen strangling him in the middle of the trek.  In the end, both survived and lived to tell the tale. Had a wonderful lunch and met some people from Nashville...the seafood is excellent!  They are known for making really good pesto, Jen loved hers.  Basically spent time hiking and took a break in each of five towns, then a swim after it was all said and done.  The beaches are pretty much just rocks...very much like croatia.  Now we are headed for Interlachen tomorrow...most of the day on the train, which may be a blessing in disguise...we may be a little sore from todays activities...  We can tell we are getting a little tired as we hit the sack last night at 8PM and woke up 12 hours later.  Haha.  Hope all is well and we will actually see most of you in a few days!  Love, Jen and Ryan
