4 weeks!

Well Audrey is almost 4 weeks old. The time has gone by so fast and she is growing like a weed. When we weighed her this past thursday she almost broke the scale by weighing 6lbs 10oz!! She gained almost an entire pound in one week! Go Audrey!! Oh and if you haven't figured it out yet, this is Jen writing, not Ryan. So this posting might not be as a amusing as Ryan's have been.

Other news in the Dick household, Nick the cat, has discovered that the Boppy lounger cushion is his new favorite place to take a nap. For those who don't know what the Boppy lounger is, it is a cushion that you can place the baby on to kick back and relax. Now Audrey and Nick are taking turns on the Boppy. The winner is decided by a round of paper, rock, scissors.

Other exciting news, Audrey went on her first big shopping trip with me and Grammy Pammy! Audrey checked out the sales at Herbergers and Baby Gap.. She has decided that Baby Gap is new new favorite place to shop!!! Oh course Ryan was thrilled to hear that news!! Now he has 2 women in the house that like to shop!

This past week we have also noticed our litte girl is getting much stronger and lifting her head up all the time, along with being much more alert. And she is even getting a little better about sleeping at night. She is still getting up every 2 hours to eat, but she is actually sleeping better in between feedings. Yay!!!!

Lastly, the biggest and most important event of the week is our 3rd weddding anniversary! Ryan and I celebrated with a trip to the Amodt's apple orchard (the site of our first date) and a bottle of wine. After about 1/2 a glass I was buzzed! ha ha..
