We celebrated his actual birthday on Tuesday by going to Nelson's for ice cream. However, he is so busy exploring he didn't eat very much ice cream, so Ryan, Audrey and I had to eat his share. such a bummer. :-)
Yesterday we celebrated with family and friends at our house. It was a little bit of a carb fest since we served pasta, bread, bars, beer, and cake. Weather was perfect so the festivities were held outdoors. Outdoor parties are definitely ideal for kids since they don't mess up the house and they can exhaust themselves by running around the yard. We are so thankful to those who could attend and hope you all had as much fun as we did.
