Its official! Audrey is walking!!! She took her first steps on November 7th and had been practicing for a few weeks.. And then about 2 weeks ago she took off! She is now walking everywhere and getting pretty fast!! Everyone except Nick is excited about little miss Audrey walking. She can now chase him around the house and he is NOT happy. Its actually pretty funny b/c Nick will run away into another room, lay down for a rest b/c he thinks he is safe, but a few seconds later Audrey comes running into the room with her hands waving wildly ready to give Nick some gentle pats.
After Thanksgiving we got the tree up and Ryan and Audrey did a wonderful job decorating. However, Audrey has decided that the placement of the ornaments isn't quite right yet so she keeps taking them off the tree. Such a perfectionist.
Last weekend Audrey visited Santa and Mrs Claus. She enjoyed all the stories that Mrs. Claus read, but wasn't too happy with Santa. She had a pretty big wish list which included a pony and her 2 front teeth. Santa said her teeth might arrive in time, but the pony might have to wait. Well, that new didn't go ov
er well and there were many tears to follow.
She continues to say lots of words, her most recent is "oh my". She is signing "please".
Ryan and I survived the big snow storm this weekend and Ryan's back is in pretty good shape considering he shoveled our driveway and his parents! Yikes! I think Santa is going to bring him a nice present this year since he worked so hard. We have 2 more presents to buy and then we are done! Yay!! This year I have become a HUGE fan of online shopping. However it is sort of dangerous. It just takes on easy click and then voila! purchased. The other thrilling part is waiting for your packages to arrive! This is not good. I might be addicted.
