More of our Audramatic

Hello All! Happy Sunday! Jen and I remain amazed at what difference there is from week to week and even day to day. Our little Audrey does something a little bit new and different every day. Today she was looking at my hand while I was reading the paper and reached up grabbed it. Very smiley this morning...unfortunately that video clip of her wouldn't fit on our blog...but I got a smaller video clip of "little miss crabby pants" (her alter-ego and arch-nemesis)! Don't worry, below is the picture of her quick recovery. Imagine "Baby Hulk" finding her pacifier and becoming a less pink form of an enraged baby monster. Those passies really work- just think what kind of world this would be if our leaders all had one in their back pocket. They probably would have been able to get his healthcare reform done in a week!

Our little Audramatic (much in contrast with her 2nd starring film) now smiles all the time. And not only smiles One can imagine how infectious that smile can be. She tends to be the belle of the ball whenever family is around. Our regular game is smiling at her to get a smile back- we have probably played that one for hours. She's babbling, cooing, regularly swatting the animals on our playmat. Much to the amusement of her parents, she will sometimes get upset at the animals after banging them around a while. The inside joke is that the dangling giraffe (affectionately named Geronimo) was teasing her. Other exciting things for Audrey Rose is naked time which routinely comes with diaper changes (she can't help but kick and kick), hanging out with her grandparents, and recently acquiring a passport! She may be venturing to Mexico later on this spring if Dad can get his act together and manage some time off work.

This week Audrey spent a full 3 days with the grandmas and also was babysat by Auntie Lola! Less excitingly, she has now managed to blow through diapers and clothes with her purulent poo. While she has recently been producing larger small wading pools of smelly "stuff"... Mom has been trying to combat the environmental hazzard with upgrading the diapers. The first deluxe pampers "baby dry" version bit the dust without sparing any of her clothing layers. The second didn't do any better. Watch our Pampers, a certain Jen Dick will be calling you Monday!

In other news, Jen and I hosted a dinner and book review on the biography that my dad wrote. For those who aren't in "the know", my dad wrote a biography of my grandfather Leo. These bound hardcovers were distributed to the whole family, and we finally got everyone together to chat about the book itself. I must confess, the whole idea was my wife's- a spectacular idea I might add- which is why I married her (besides the fact that she is smoking hot). Good food, wine, and conversation with the whole family...doesn't get much better. Anyway, my wife and I are going to enjoy our Sunday morning now with a napping kiddo and reading the paper. Happy Sunday! Love, Snick, Audramatic, Jen and Ryan
